We know you enjoy some traditional Souther cooking, so how about a delicious dessert? The Shoofly Pie is so sweet that you always have to keep the flies away from it, that is where its interesting name comes from. It’s actually pretty easy to make. Just mix flour, almonds, salt, sugar, butter and water into a bowl and then let it in a warm place to grow. Spread it with the help of a rolling pin and some flour and put it in the pie shape by carefully cutting the edges with the knife. Let it grown a bit more. In another bowl mix flour, sugar and butter and in another add syrup, water, eggs, cinnamon and baking soda. Then pour the contents of the two bowls on to the pie crust in layers. Put the pie in the oven and serve with with some raspberry decorations. Good luck!
